Many of the interviews of the veterans featured in the book, My Father’s War: Memories from Our Honored WWII Soldiers, were filmed, edited, and now available.
My worry was, “what happens when they, and myself, are no longer here? Will the world forget these ordinary neighbors turned soldiers, sailors and airmen? Will their great-great-granchildren know and understand the sacrifices they made for our free country?”
This project isn’t just about the featured veterans. Not at all. It’s about every family member who wished they had asked their father, mother, brother, uncle and neighbor, about their life during World War Two. Regardless of their rank, branch, or theater of war, you should be able to find someone close to what you may have thought your love one lived through.
